TWO POINTS ABOUT TWO DEMOCRATES RUNNIGN FOR PRESIDENT.....

There have been a couple of things that have been under my skin for the past oh 48 hours. The first one is Hillary Clintons Health Choices Plane (Universal Health Care) is what it is. But we have a choice we can keep our current health plan if we like it or we have a choice to shop around. But if we choose not to have health insurance, we have to pay a fine. A FINE!!!! Because we choose not to have health insurance. Are you kidding me? Please someone show me in the Constitution where is says that it is the government's responsibility to provide me and my family or anyone with health insurance. I got news for ya folks, it's not in there.

It is personal responsibility of the individual to, if they want insurance, to provide it for themselves. Period. When did we get to the point in this country of innovators, thinkers, inventors, where we have turned to the government to provide for us? Wait a minute don't answer that. When the welfare state began with Mr. Johnson's Great Society, well actually it started with FDR and The New Deal or the Raw Deal as some call it. The Government of the United States is not responsible to provide you with anything other than currency, and security. They don't even have the right under the constitution to tax the bat-snot out of us. But we let them, because we don't' demand more from them because most of America is asleep at the wheel. Oh and Hillary Clinton's Universal Health Care Plan will cost, are you ready for this, only $110,000,000,000.00 per year, that is billion for those of you who don't like to count the commas. That is three times the annual budget of the Department of Homeland Security which comes in at just over $34 billion.

Wake-up America!!! Please wake up and take our country back. If we don't do it now, our children and grandchildren will be paying for it long after we are gone.

The second point, because I did say two, is that Obama says our tax system isn't fair. He says the rich don't pay enough in taxes. The rich don't pay their fair share. I actually think he has it backwards, because I think the stat is that 50% of the taxes in this country are paid by the top 15% percent of the wealthiest population. Again where does the government have the authority to take my stuff from me, the money in this case, that I have worked for, and decide to give it to someone else? WHERE? Please dear God in Heaven show me where in our Constitution that is written. Again it is not!!!

It is written that all men are created equal. Created equal doesn't mean we all get equal money, or jobs, acclaim, fame, whatever. We are all created equal and have opportunities to make something out of ourselves. It doesn't mean that we have the right to have the same as the guy down the street, nor should it. Alexander Hamilton wrote, "Inequality would exist as long as liberty existed....It would unavoidably result from that very liberty itself." Again we are all created equal as human beings, but we don't all get the same jobs or incomes, not in a capitalistic society.



So if you want to give up your liberty and your freedom and become a socialist country like France and even Britain. Go ahead and elect one of these two Leftists. Oh I'm sorry Hillary wants to be called a Progressive. Damned if I want to be called that. Because progressive is another word for Socialist. Where the government comes up with all these grand ideas and programs to "help" the people out, when all these programs really do is keep the people down and dependent on the government.

Socialism and Progressives be Damned.....Let Liberty live forever!!!

The First Post of this Blog!!!!!

This is obviously the first post of this blog and I will do my best to post once-a-day, but alas the road is paved with good intentions. As stated in my profile and what this blog is about, I am a conservative. I do believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I believe the biggest problem in this country is that we have become so polarized that we cannot sit down and have a discussion where we disagree but we don't want to kill each other. And so now in America all conservatives are war/hate/mongors and all liberals can do no wrong. So given that the majority of the media is left-leaning, I will come at this blog from the stand point of all out conservatism. And make no apologies for it.

I will however always welcome those who can and will accept that people will have different opinions but not want to demonize the other side. I have friends who are on fire liberals, I don't agree with anything that comes out of their mouths on politics, but we all have kids who we love and are trying to raise, we all have favorite sports teams we want to win. We are all decent human beings. And in America that should be enough for us to come together on, but for some reason on a larger scale it isn't.......I wonder.......
